Hi there everyone,
Had a great weekend over here on Merchant Navy Day attending the International Merchant Navy Memorial unveiling at Point Danger, just over the Queensland/NSW border.
Weather was magnificent and so was the company - and not a Brown Nose to be seen!! A lot of Vindi Lads together with non Vindi Lads and Aussie seamen as well.
Need I say that the socialising was first class and everyone enjoyed themselves swinging the lamp - great stuff, unlike other reunions I've attended in the past some distance from the SE Queensland Vindi Association.
These lads, led by their President, Brian Hunt, did a magnificent job and they should all be proud of their accomplishment.

Regards to the query on the Canadian Vindicatrix Association I am in regular contact with a founder member and he has told me they are considering folding soon due to low member numbers, old age and distances. They are still operating as a talking shop meet at present as I understand it.
