Comments: G'day All, It is a sad announcement to say that one of our Members "Crossed the Bar" last week and his funeral took place on Friday 13th June 2014. We had a reasonable turn out to farewell Donald Johnstone. He was Born on 20/03/1927 and passed over on Saturday 7th June 2014. He had a chequered and a mostly enjoyable life. REST IN PEACE Donald

Comments: It was with deep regret that I received the news that Gordi Cohen has "crossed the bar" yesterday following a long illness. I'll always remember meeting him at Sharpness many years ago and his cheerful attitude to life. I've sent our East Kent condolence cards to Kimmy but there's not much one can say to ease the pain of a loss. At least he's out of pain and suffering. R.I.P. Gordi. Comments: A very merry Christmas to the lads in SEQ Queensland. I have had two very memorable Christmases at sea, One was spending the day at the Salvation Army somewhere near the Sydney Rocks when our ship was in dry dock and all the hotels were shut. And what a spread and welcome they made for us. The second was crossing the International date-line and having two Christmas days one after the other. No not with two festivities though thankfully as we were a tad under the weather. In fact I had two other great Christmases at sea, but not in ranking with the ones mentioned. But great days…………….
